Born in Gojo City, Nara Prefecture
After graduating from the Faculty of Law at Kansai University
May 2002: Apprenticed to Jakusaburo Katsura

While I value classic Rakugo, I am not bound by the concept of where to perform.
I place importance on performing in various situations with inspirations.
Cafes, Bars, Clothing stores, Gardens, Campgrounds, etc.

In the summer of 2022,
Opened "Jakuta Kathura administrative scrivener's office"

When I have time
I like to in the midst of nature
and try to prepare my mind and body

I also enjoy talking with people who happen to be next to me.
